Constance Marie

Constance Constance Marie Lopez (born September 9, 1965)[1] is an American actress from the United States. Her credits include Angie Lopez in George Lopez (2002-2007) and Marcela Quintanilla as the mother of Selena in Selena (1997). She was Regina Vasquez on the ABC Family/Freeform drama show Switched at Birth (2011-17). She currently plays Camila Diaz on the drama series on Amazon Prime Video Undone (2019). Marie started her acting career during her teenage years. Her first film role came in the 1988 film Salsa. Other film and television credits include Early Edition (dirty dancing), Dirty Dancing (selena), Spin City (ally Mcbeal) and Selena (spin city). Marie was chosen to play the role of Angie Lopez in ABC's comedy series George Lopez. Marie played a prominent role in 2001's comedy-drama Tortilla Soup, alongside Jacqueline Obradors and Hector Elizondo. Marie was also a part of the PBS drama American Family. The line of clothing she launched was "The Constance Marie" in October 2007. The actress also appeared in an ad campaign for PETA that year encouraging pet owners to spay/neuter their pets. In the years 2011 through the year 2017, Marie was a major character in the ABC Family/Freeform drama series Switched at Birth, portraying Regina Vasquez, the birth mother of one of the girls , and also the legal mother of the other.
