Ellie Goulding's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 in Hereford England) is a English Songwriter and Singer. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound swiftly brought her to the top of the charts when she caught the attention of the general public in the year 2010. She was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop.
