Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 in Hereford England) is a English Songwriter and Singer. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound swiftly brought her to the top of the charts when she caught the attention of the general public in the year 2010. She was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her unique soprano sibilance and knack of writing engaging, but emotionally honest songs, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of modern mainstream music as well as an independent, artistic pop.Goulding quickly moved from the blogosphere to print media, garnering praise from mainstream publications like The Guardian and fielding offers from record labels. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a record deal. The album she released was ready for release.
